I’ve just graduated from college. So, what’s next? For many, the answer to that question is a year of service with a non-profit or governmental agency. Programs like AmeriCorps and Teach for America make such service possible.

While there is a lot value in joining a secular service organization, there are also those who seek to intigrate their faith as a part of the year long volunteer effort. The organizations listed above are dedicated to serving local communities as a part of their faith commitments. Young Adults who participate in long term service will be asked to evaluate and discern their own faith even as they serve.
