Camp counselor (7 years), youth ministry (2 years), service projects, mission trip (local, national, and international).

HOW HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED IN COMMUNITY SERVICE/SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES WHILE IN SEMINARY?

I work in a downtown church as the Associate Pastor and Co Director of Youth Ministries.

WHAT TYPE OF "MINISTRY" DO YOU SEE YOURSELF DOING?

I do ministry with many people, but especially youth, as they discover who they are and who we all are together.

WHAT TOPICS WOULD YOU BE OPEN TO SHARING ABOUT WITH GROUPS? 

Vocational discernment, youth ministry, loving all types of neighbors.

WHAT WERE YOUR FAVORITE COURSES IN UNDERGRAD? SEMINARY?

Undergrad- American Literature, Art History

Seminary: New Testament, UM Doctrine, Abrahamic Traditions: Issues in Social Justice. These were the courses that gave me the greatest challenges, and were also vital in shaping how I view the world today, as well as how I am called to interact and care for this world today

WHAT'S YOUR DREAM JOB?

Of course I'm living my dream job as a pastor, but if I weren't a pastor and I had to choose some other profession, I would likely be either a labor and delivery nurse, photographer, or journalist.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU'RE NOT WORKING ON CHANGING THE WORLD?

I love playing with my adorable yet horribly behaved puppy, Shakespeare as well as camping, volleyball, and watching football.
